Kluster is the kind of tabletop game that looks almost bare until the magnet stones start snapping together and upsetting the plan. Borderline Editions Kluster (Classic) Game belongs to the light abstract end of the shelf, where rules are short, turns are quick, and the whole point is managing tension around a small physical space. By our assessment, its strength is that it is instant to explain and lively to play, with real table presence from the magnets themselves. The downside is the same simplicity: once the trick is understood, the game does not hide much behind it, so it is more about quick sessions than deep strategy. In practice, it is tactile, a little noisy, and best when people are willing to lean in and laugh at the pile of magnets as it grows. Compared with heavier strategy titles, it is faster and less demanding; compared with party filler, it has more structure than pure chaos. It rewards people who like short, clever duels and a physical gimmick that actually carries the game.
