Black Diamond Vision Harness is a climbing harness for people who want a light, technical sit harness for sport routes, alpine days, and gym sessions. By our assessment, it stands out for feeling stripped down rather than padded up: less bulk, less fuss, more room to move. The trade-off is plain too, because a harness like this asks you to accept a firmer, more minimal carry and fewer comfort extras for long hanging sessions. In use, that usually means quick adjustment, a close fit, and not much drama once it is on. Compared with plusher all-around harnesses, it sits on the sporty end of the scale. The Vision name points to performance first, and that is exactly the sort of thing people buy it for.
