Bentley Bentayga Hybrid folds full-size luxury SUV comfort around plug-in hybrid running, so it is for buyers who want a Bentley with the option of shorter electric trips and a calmer city drive. By our assessment, its real strength is that it keeps the Bentayga’s high-end cabin, strong road presence, and long-distance ease while adding a cleaner, quieter side in low-speed use. The trade-off is weight and complexity: hybrid hardware makes these cars heavier and more intricate than simpler petrol SUVs, and the electric part only helps for a limited stretch before the engine takes over. In practice that means easy progress, polished isolation, and a lot of attention to materials and finish, rather than sharpness or thrift. It sits above mainstream luxury SUVs and alongside other prestige plug-in options, but it is not trying to be the keen driver’s choice. The Bentley Bentayga Hybrid makes sense if refinement matters more than mechanical simplicity.
