Baby

Baby is one of those packaging-style names that gives very little away until you look at how the catalogue files it, and here it sits under Heinz. By our assessment, that makes it less a standalone product name than a label attached to a known food line, so the main question is not style but clarity. The trouble is that the word Baby by itself is too broad to tell a buyer much, and without the fuller Heinz context it stays vague on the shelf. What that usually means in practice is a standard grocery item for families, not a specialised product with a lot of explanation around it. Compared with the bigger Heinz name, this is the weak side of the label: short, generic and easy to miss. Baby is only useful once the surrounding Heinz wording does the real identifying work.
