Babby Rattle

Babby Rattle is one of the simplest baby toys there is: a handheld rattle for infants, made to be shaken, heard and grabbed. By our assessment, the strength of a good rattle is that it gives very young babies instant cause-and-effect feedback, which is useful for attention, sound recognition and very early grasping. The downside is that there is not much to it by design; once the sound and shape are familiar, the toy's ceiling is low compared with more interactive baby playthings. In practice it should be light, repetitive and easy for adults to manage, which is exactly what this age group needs. Against plush toys or activity centers, it is far more direct and far less complicated. Babby Rattle is for the earliest months, when simple noise and a safe shape do most of the work.
