BIOSILK SILK Therapy LITE is aimed at people who want a leave-in hair treatment that feels lighter than a classic rich serum, especially for smoothing and taming frizz without coating the hair too heavily. By our assessment, the real strength of the BIOSILK line has always been that silky finish and the way it can make hair feel more controlled with very little fuss. The downside of the lighter version is that it may not satisfy very dry, coarse, or heavily damaged hair the way a richer treatment can. In practice it is the kind of product that rewards small amounts and careful application, because too much leave-in silicone can make fine hair look flat. It sits between a cosmetic styling aid and a treatment product, and the lighter texture is the point.
