Audi A3, RS 3 is aimed at buyers who want compact-car size with real performance hardware underneath. By our assessment, the RS 3 badge is the part that matters most: it turns the A3 shape into a much sharper, faster, more expensive proposition than the ordinary hatch or sedan. Its strength is obvious in the idea itself, because it mixes everyday dimensions with an engine and chassis tuned for speed and grip. The downside is equally obvious: that performance focus brings a firmer ride, higher running costs, and less sense if the driver only wants calm commuting. In practice it feels like a small Audi that has been given too much ambition in the best way. Against standard A3 models, it is much more serious; against larger hot hatches or proper sports sedans, it trades some space for compactness. Audi A3, RS 3 suits people who want one car to do normal duties and then wake up on a fast road, and the name itself already tells you it is not the mild version.
