Aico Ei3014 Heat Detector is the kind of detector people want in places where early warning matters more than a loud alarm scene, especially in kitchens, plant rooms and other spots where smoke alarms can be too twitchy. By our assessment, its strength is that it watches for heat rather than smoke, so it can fit locations that would frustrate a standard smoke detector. The trade-off is equally clear: it is not a universal fire detector, and it will not do the same job as a smoke alarm in open living areas. In practice this means a device that sits quietly on the ceiling and only becomes interesting when temperature behaviour crosses the line it is set to watch. Compared with smoke detectors, it is more specialized and less likely to complain about ordinary cooking fumes. Aico Ei3014 Heat Detector is for targeted fire protection, not for covering every room with one type of sensor.
