ADAR Barrel-o-Slime points straight at a novelty slime toy, the sort made for squeezing, stretching, and making a mess on purpose. By our assessment, the appeal of something like this is tactile play: slime is cheap entertainment for kids who like squishier textures than putty or modeling clay. The obvious limit is equally simple, because slime can dry out, pick up dirt, and end up more annoying than fun if it is not stored well. In practice these tubs are about short bursts of play, not deep or lasting use. Compared with putty, it is goopier; compared with craft dough, it is less tidy. ADAR Barrel-o-Slime is for sensory fun and nothing more, with the usual slime cleanup.
