Tomato Ketchup Zero is the sugar-free branch of ketchup, aimed at people who want the familiar tomato-and-vinegar squeeze without the usual sweetness. By our assessment, that is its main job and also its main limitation, because removing sugar changes the body and makes the taste feel leaner and sharper than regular ketchup. It works best on burgers, fries, and other foods that already want a bright condiment, but it is not trying to be the richer, rounder bottle most tables know. In practice it is still ketchup in the everyday sense: thick, red, and ready to come out of the bottle in a predictable stripe. Compared with classic ketchup, it leans more toward diet pantry logic than comfort-food gloss, and that is exactly where it sits. The real question is whether the cleaner profile is what a person wants at the table.
