Salim

Salim is a plain milk product, and that already tells you most of the story: it sits in the everyday dairy lane rather than in anything fancy. By our assessment, that makes it useful as an unadorned staple, but also limited, because milk products live or die on freshness, taste consistency, and how much one brand separates itself from the next. The texture of using a basic milk item is familiar enough to be almost invisible until something is off. Astrina files Salim under Milks, so this is a straightforward supermarket dairy line, not a specialty drink or a cultured product. The name gives very little away, which is fine for a household staple and not so fine for anyone hoping for a distinctive character.
