Bonne Maman - French Strawberry & Wild Strawberry Jam, 370g (13oz)

Bonne Maman - French Strawberry & Wild Strawberry Jam, 370g (13oz) leans on the brand’s familiar home-style jam image, with strawberries joined by wild strawberry for a slightly more layered fruit taste. By our assessment, that mix is the point: it is not trying to be flashy, just a comfortable berry jam with a little extra aroma. The downside is that this kind of jam can stay on the sweet side and will not give the sharpness some people want from a more tart preserve. In practice it is the sort of jar that works on toast, in yogurt, and in simple baking without needing much thought. It sits near the middle of the premium-supermarket jam shelf, above the plain basics but well short of anything artisanal. Bonne Maman - French Strawberry & Wild Strawberry Jam, 370g (13oz) is the kind of spread that keeps the fruit flavour tidy and familiar.
