Y R Jhunjhunwala

Y R Jhunjhunwala is a company name that looks more like an ownership or family name than a clearly branded business. By our assessment, there is too little public substance here to say what it does, so the fair reading stays restrained rather than inventive. The benefit of this sort of naming is that it can fit a closely held firm with a direct, personal identity; the cost is that it tells outsiders almost nothing about the line of work. In practice it is the sort of label that gives no sector clue until more detail appears elsewhere. Compared with a trade name, it is much less self-explanatory and much more opaque. It remains a plain company listing with no visible public specialty to weigh.
