Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo is the sort of large U.S. bank people think of for checking, mortgages, auto lending, cards, and a branch on the corner. By our assessment, it is strong at the ordinary banking work that comes from size: deposits, lending, ATM access, and a long-established branch presence. The downside is the familiar one for a bank of this shape: fees, product complexity, and a reputation that makes some customers more cautious than they would be with a newer competitor. In practice it is a place for routine money handling, not for clever features, and the experience is shaped by a big national institution rather than a nimble app-first brand. It sits beside Chase and Bank of America in the classic U.S. banking tier, more traditional than fintechs and more sprawling than local banks. The Astrina catalogue marks it as US, which matches that profile.
