WIND TECHNOLOGIES LTD

WIND TECHNOLOGIES LTD is the sort of name that could belong to a software shop, a renewable-energy outfit, or a hardware contractor, so it carries more range than clarity. By our assessment, that gives it a fairly modern tone, but also a vague one: the word wind suggests movement and utility without pinning down the actual business. Its strength is flexibility, because the name can fit a technical company in more than one sector. Its weakness is the same looseness, since a reader cannot tell what is actually sold or built. In practice, names like this often sit in crowded markets where the real work is invisible and the branding does most of the talking. It is a decent, serviceable company name, yet it stops at atmosphere and never becomes specific enough to stand out.
