WILLMETT & CO

WILLMETT & CO has the feel of a traditional professional-services or trading name, the sort that could belong to an old partnership, an agency, or a small firm with a formal face. By our assessment, its main strength is that it sounds established and adaptable, which suits businesses that want to look restrained rather than flashy. The weakness is also built into it: the name is so open-ended that it tells a reader almost nothing about what the company actually does. In practice, that can be fine if the work is relationship-led and the brand is meant to stay behind the scenes. Against more descriptive competitors, WILLMETT & CO sits in the older, more generic corner of business naming. It feels neat enough, but it does not hand over any clue beyond a polished frontage.
