By our assessment, its appeal is in steady, conventional banking rather than flash, which is exactly what many people want from a bank. The downside is just as ordinary: it is not the place for a big product menu, a famous app ecosystem, or the sense that every feature has been polished into something special. In practice that means checking balances, moving money, and handling day-to-day banking without much drama. It sits with the mainstream U.S. banks that serve local and business customers, not with niche online challengers or giant national names. The name tells you the style already, and the branch-and-account routine is what it is for.
