Tompkins, Price & Walker has the feel of a traditional law or professional-partnership name, and by our assessment, that is its main value: it signals formality, continuity, and a client-facing service business. These names work because they sound like the people behind them still matter, which fits law, accounting, or advisory work. The downside is equally plain: you learn almost nothing about specialization, and the ampersand-and-surnames format is deliberately generic. In use, it belongs to firms where introductions, letters, and reputation carry the weight.
