Tekcollect Inc.

Tekcollect Inc. sits in debt collection, the hard-edged business of chasing overdue accounts on behalf of lenders and other creditors. By our assessment, its good side is also its basic purpose: collections are unpleasant, but they are a real part of how unpaid accounts get handled. The downside is obvious and structural, because this is one of those services people only want to hear from when something has already gone wrong. In practice it means letters, calls, payment plans, and a lot of pressure around old balances. Against friendlier financial brands, this is the stern end of the table, and that is the whole point of the category. Tekcollect Inc. is not a consumer product and not a convenience service; it is a collections firm, and nothing about that job is meant to be soft.
