TETHIS SHIPPING CO

TETHIS SHIPPING CO is clearly a shipping business, so the first job it suggests is moving cargo rather than selling a consumer product. By our assessment, that is its main strength: the name is direct and leaves little doubt about the field. The downside is that it gives away almost nothing else, and shipping can mean anything from freight forwarding to vessel operation to a paper company with maritime paperwork. In practice, a company like this usually sits in a world of routes, contracts, ports, and schedules, which is much less glamorous than the word shipping sounds. It belongs to the broad logistics side of business, where the real question is what it actually moves and for whom, and that part remains hidden here.
