Strategic Corporate Finance is the sort of company name people reach for when they sell advisory work around deals, capital structure, fundraising, or mergers. By our assessment, it promises a serious finance shop, but the name also gives away how generic that promise is. The real strength of firms in this lane is judgement on transactions and numbers; the real weakness is that the phrase itself could fit a hundred similar boutiques. In practice it sounds formal, a little stiff, and very much built for presentations and business cards. Against bigger advisory networks, it reads as a small specialist rather than a broad platform.
