Safe Internet League

Safe Internet League is the kind of advocacy and monitoring organisation whose job is to talk about online safety, harmful content, and internet regulation in public language. By our assessment, its main strength is that it is easy to read as a mission-led body: the purpose is explicit, and the focus is clear. The limit is that such groups often depend on a narrow agenda, so their public voice can feel more like campaign work than broad internet expertise. In practice, this means statements, recommendations, and pressure around what should or should not be online. It sits closer to a lobbying or watchdog group than to a technology company. Safe Internet League is for people who want a clear safety-oriented stance, and not for anyone looking for a neutral, all-purpose internet institution.
