Russian Post

Russian Post remains the massive state postal network for letters, parcels, payments, and deliveries that have to reach far-flung places as well as big cities. By our assessment, it is strongest where sheer coverage matters more than elegance: there are branches, postboxes, parcel services, and a basic logistical backbone that still moves a lot of everyday mail. The honest downside is the old postal mix of queues, paperwork, and variable handling, which is exactly what people picture when they think about a large national operator. In practice, using it often means tracking numbers, counters, and waiting for ordinary mail to clear a complicated route. Russian Post sits at the traditional end of the market, far from boutique couriers and very much tied to the old public-service model. It makes sense for standard domestic mail and broad reach, and less sense for anyone looking for speed or a polished shipping experience.
