Richards, Mark A.

Richards, Mark A. feels like a standard professional listing, the kind used for an individual consultant, accountant, lawyer, or other solo practice. By our assessment, its virtue is plainness: it is easy to read, easy to file, and hard to misinterpret as a brand invented for flair. The trade-off is that it tells you almost nothing beyond the fact that someone named Richards is being identified in a business setting. That makes it practical for records and correspondence, but thin when you want any sense of what the person actually does. Compared with a company name built around a product or service, this is more a label than a promise, and the label is all it really offers. Richards, Mark A. needs surrounding details before it becomes useful as more than a name.
