Regions Bank is a familiar regional bank for people who want a broad, mainstream place to keep accounts, take loans, and use branch banking across a wide footprint. By our assessment, its real strength is that it sits between a tiny community bank and a huge national megabank: there is usually enough scale for a solid product range without losing the local-bank feel entirely. The downside is the usual regional-bank trade-off, because it is not the nimblest choice if someone wants a pure online-first experience or the deepest niche products.
