QI TECHNOLOGIES is the kind of name that could cover anything from software to hardware support, and that vagueness is exactly its problem. By our assessment, it reads like a generic technology firm aimed at business clients, with the usual strengths of that world: systems work, integration, maintenance, and services that sit behind a larger product. The trade-off is obvious too, because a name this broad gives almost no clue what the company actually does day to day. In practice, that makes it hard to separate a real specialist from a shop that simply uses a polished tech label.
