Pollywood is the sort of company name that borrows the shine of film culture without saying whether it actually makes films, handles media work, or just wants to sound creative. By our assessment, that makes it memorable, but also slippery: the public face is style before substance. The drawback is the same thing that makes it catchy, because the name does not pin down a concrete line of business. In practice, that can be fine for branding and awkward for clarity. It sits nearer to a media-flavoured label than to a precise description, and the card cannot honestly do more than that.
