PRIME ANCHOR LTD

PRIME ANCHOR LTD has the feel of a holding or marine-flavoured business name, the sort that could sit comfortably in shipping, logistics, investment, or property. By our assessment, the word anchor gives it a little more weight than a purely generic corporate name, so it sounds steadier than many invented company titles. The downside is that it still does not say what the company actually does, and the range of possible meanings is wide enough to be unhelpful. In practice it is the kind of name that works best when a firm wants a serious register and a broad umbrella rather than a precise label. Against more specific names, it offers tone instead of detail. PRIME ANCHOR LTD is solid as a shell, but the real business could be almost anything underneath.
