PATTERSON WAYNE

PATTERSON WAYNE sits in the same plain category as the other name-only entries here, and its main virtue is that it is unmistakably a label. By our assessment, it works best where a formal identifier is enough and nobody needs marketing language or extra explanation. That also defines its weakness: without a service, product, or public profile behind it, there is almost nothing to judge except the fact that it can be written down cleanly. In practice it feels spare and administrative, the sort of thing that helps with filing more than with recognition. Against a real business name it is thin, because a reader gets no clue about what stands behind it. The result is a modest, neutral mark rather than something with shape or range.
