PARAGON FACILITIES AND MANAGEMENT LTD is the most functional name in the set, and it is built for people who deal with buildings, services, and the running of sites. By our assessment, it promises facilities management in the plain sense: maintenance, coordination, and the unglamorous work that keeps premises usable. That is a real strength, because the name tells you the business is about operations rather than image. The downside is that it is so broad that it could cover cleaning, repairs, security, or contract oversight without saying which. In practice, this is a back-office kind of company name, all utility and little character, which is exactly how many facilities firms prefer it. Compared with more branded corporate names, it is clearer about function and poorer at standing out.
