NPP Istok

NPP Istok has the compact, factory-like feel of a technical company name, the sort that usually sits in radio electronics, instrumentation, or another specialized engineering field. By our assessment, it works because it is plain and unpretentious: you can hear the production side of the business right away. The problem is that it gives very little away beyond that, so the current scope and public identity stay hidden. In use it feels efficient but sparse, like a label meant for people who already know the sector. Against broader corporate names, it is narrower and more specific, which is good for insiders and dull for everyone else. It is a name that tells you the company has a technical backbone, then stops there.
