NAVICOR GROUP LTD.

NAVICOR GROUP LTD. has the feel of a holding or services company, one of those corporate names that can cover consulting, investments, or a cluster of related businesses. By our assessment, that makes it useful as a legal and commercial wrapper, but hard to judge from the outside because the name itself tells so little about the actual trade. The strength of a group structure is flexibility: it can gather different activities under one roof and move money, contracts, or responsibilities between them. The downside is opacity, because people outside the circle often see structure before they see substance. In practice, a company like this can be neat on paper and slippery in meaning, which is common in the group-company world. It sits closer to a corporate vehicle than to an operating brand, and NAVICOR GROUP LTD. is the kind of name that asks for a filing cabinet, not a storefront.
