Manhattan Bureau De Change Limited is a foreign-exchange office in name and likely in function, the kind of place people use to swap currencies rather than to do anything complicated. By our assessment, the appeal is obvious: it is a practical, specialised service, and that usually means a clear task and a clear counter. The trade-off is that bureau de change work is narrow, fee-sensitive, and often less attractive than a bank account or a card if you need broader banking services. In practice it is about rates, cash handling, and speed at the counter, not about breadth. It sits below full banks and above random street-side exchange, and the name tells you almost everything it wants to tell you.
