MONICA RICCI

MONICA RICCI reads like a personal-name company, the kind of label often used by a sole trader, studio, or fashion-related business that wants a human face rather than a corporate one. By our assessment, that can work well in services where reputation, taste, or a named designer matters more than scale. The downside is that the name gives away almost nothing about what is actually sold, so the business has to do the explaining elsewhere. In practice it feels intimate and brand-like, but also opaque if you are looking for a clear category. It sits closer to boutique labels and personal brands than to ordinary incorporated firms, and the whole effect depends on the work behind the name being easy to see.
