Lundbeck is a drug company for the nervous system: depression, schizophrenia, migraine, and related psychiatric and neurological treatments are its home ground. By our assessment, it does focused neuroscience work well, which is exactly why doctors and patients in that area know the name. The trade-off is that the company is much narrower than a broad pharma giant, so it does not have the scale or the blockbuster spread of the biggest drug groups. In practice this is a research-heavy, prescription-driven business where the products matter more than any consumer-facing polish. Lundbeck sits closer to specialist medicine than to general pharmaceutical branding, and that makes it credible but also narrower. It is a sensible choice if the question is brain and mental-health treatment, not a wide drug portfolio.
