Liga

Liga is the kind of company name that depends almost entirely on context, because on its own it can point to a sports association, a business group, or a brand with a regional feel. By our assessment, its strength is brevity: it is easy to remember and has a compact, confident sound. The downside is the same thing, since the name is so short that it gives away almost nothing about the company’s line of work. In practice it feels clean and adaptable, but also anonymous until a logo, sector, or product fills in the missing details. Against the other names in this set, it is the least descriptive and the easiest to reuse in many fields. It works best when the surrounding branding does the heavy lifting.
