LLC “Novaport Holding"

Centralizing the ownership and operation of regional airports gives LLC “Novaport Holding" a role behind the scenes of passenger travel rather than in selling tickets or flying aircraft. Airports bring together terminal services, airline operations, ground handling, retail, and the infrastructure that connects a city to air routes. By our assessment, a holding structure can coordinate investment and airport management across locations, while each site still has to serve its own region and traffic patterns. That local dependence is also a limit: an airport cannot offer the same range of routes as a major hub simply because it belongs to a larger group. The company’s work matters to passengers, airlines, cargo operators, and businesses in airport terminals, but travelers do not choose it in the same way they choose an airline. Airport operations also require coordination among many separate services, from check-in areas to aircraft stands. A regional airport’s usefulness ultimately rests on the routes airlines actually operate there.
