Kalashnikov Concern

A rare combination of civilian manufacturing and military production defines Kalashnikov Concern, whose best-known products include firearms and related equipment. Its established place in the arms industry gives the company a clear area of expertise, while the wider Kalashnikov name is closely associated with a familiar family of rifles. By our assessment, it is a significant industrial manufacturer, not a general-purpose consumer brand. The trade-off is that its core business is weapons, a field whose purpose and risks are far removed from ordinary household products. Its work is best understood through that specialized role, rather than through the name’s broader cultural reach.
