JetBlue

JetBlue is the airline people often think of when they want a more humane U.S. low-cost experience without giving up every comfort. By our assessment, its best feature is the mix of coach fares, in-flight entertainment, decent legroom on many routes, and the generally friendlier cabin feel it has tried to make part of the brand. The limit is just as concrete: it still runs inside the hard economics of aviation, where delays, aircraft costs, and network pressure can erase the pleasant bits fast. In practice, JetBlue feels like a domestic airline that tries to be less bare-bones than the cheapest rivals. It sits between full-service carriers and the stricter budget end, which is why it has a clear identity without pretending to be something else. It suits travelers who want a bit more comfort than the lowest-fare norm, but not anyone who expects luxury or a perfect schedule.
