JSM markets has the blunt, trading-floor feel of a markets business, and that usually points to brokerage, dealing, or some form of financial intermediation. By our assessment, the appeal of that kind of name is directness: it says finance without dressing it up. The downside is that it is almost too broad, because markets can mean many things and the title does not reveal which part of the financial chain this company occupies. In practice, such a name leaves the heavy lifting to regulation, disclosure, and actual service terms, not to branding. It is a label that fits the sector well enough, but it does not by itself make the business legible.
