JASPER, THEODORE

JASPER, THEODORE is a name that reads like a small professional firm rather than a consumer brand, so the sensible reading is a company built around a person’s practice or surname. By our assessment, the safest thing to say is that it sits in the ordinary middle of this kind of business: specific enough to sound local or specialist, but not a name that explains its own field. The downside is that, with no public facts in hand, it gives almost no clues about products, services, or scale, so anyone outside its immediate circle gets very little to work with. In practice that means the name does more identifying than describing, which is common for personal or boutique companies. It is not trying to be a broad marketplace or a big public-facing brand. The mark here is simply the narrowness of what the name tells you.
