J.PERRINE LTD

J.PERRINE LTD has the spare, clipped feel of a small private company name, and that minimalism is both its strength and its problem. By our assessment, it is too bare to explain what the firm actually does, but neat enough to look like a standard legal business entry. The upside is that it is easy to type, easy to file, and unlikely to confuse anyone who already has the proper paperwork. The downside is that it carries almost no public meaning beyond the surname-style shape of the name itself. In practice, it is the kind of company name that disappears into records unless someone already knows the business behind it. Compared with more descriptive trade names, it gives away less and asks the reader to look elsewhere for the rest.
