InPost

InPost changed parcel delivery for people who do not want to wait for a courier window at home, because its locker network lets packages be sent and collected around everyday routes. By our assessment, the real strength is the locker model itself: it is convenient for missed deliveries, returns and out-of-home pickup, and it cuts down on the handoff that makes home delivery messy. The downside is that it depends on lockers being nearby and available, so it works best in places where the network is dense and less well where it is thin. In practice it feels more like a pickup system than a traditional delivery company, with app-based codes, automatic lockers and no need to stand around for a driver. Compared with home-courier services, InPost is less personal but often more flexible; compared with parcel shops, it removes one more errand from the day. The Astrina catalogue places it in Poland, and that matches a business built around locker logistics.
