IRGC SSJO

IRGC SSJO is the sort of abbreviation that only really makes sense if you already know the institution behind it, and that tells you a lot about the kind of company it is. By our assessment, it stands for research, self-sufficiency, and technical supply work tied to the IRGC, so the core idea is military support rather than a public product line. The downside is the usual one for an acronym: it is compact, but it gives almost no feel for scope, output, or the day-to-day work behind it. In practice, it reads like an internal label used around engineering and procurement functions, not something built for customers. Compared with the full name, it is more clipped and less explanatory, which is useful inside a system and thin everywhere else. The real content is in the longer form, and this short version mostly survives as shorthand.
