Hasanabad-e Qom Prison

Hasanabad-e Qom Prison is a correctional facility, so it belongs to the world of detention and custody rather than retail or public services. By our assessment, the only clear strength of a prison is its basic function: holding people securely under legal supervision. The trade-off is unavoidable and concrete, because a prison is defined by restriction, routine, and heavy control, not comfort or freedom. In practice that means locked movement, formal rules, and a daily life shaped by custody instead of choice. As a category it is measured against other prisons, not against anything a civilian would call pleasant. Nothing in the name suggests a special model or public-facing role, so there is no reason to dress it up. The honest rating is neutral to low, simply because this is a hard institution with a narrow purpose.
