HARVEY B. VAUGHN JR.

HARVEY B. VAUGHN JR. reads like a named proprietor or legacy business, the sort of label often used when the person behind the firm is meant to matter more than the brand itself. By our assessment, that gives it a certain old-fashioned authority, and it can work well in a legal, financial, or local professional setting. The downside is the usual one for personal-name companies: it explains nothing about the service, the field, or the audience. In practice it feels formal, slightly distant, and very much tied to whatever reputation the people behind it have built elsewhere. Compared with a descriptive corporate name, it is less informative but more personal. It is a name that opens doors in paperwork, not one that does much work on its own.
