Griffin Mergers and Acquisitions is built for corporate deal work, especially the buying, selling, and combining of businesses. By our assessment, its strength is obvious from the name: this is the sort of firm people call when a transaction needs valuation, negotiation, structure, and a lot of moving parts kept in order. The downside is that mergers and acquisitions are a narrow, high-stakes niche, so the work can be intense, document-heavy, and very uneven from one engagement to the next. In practice, it is less about a broad menu of everyday finance and more about concentrated deal execution under pressure.
