Glocom

Glocom has the feel of a compact corporate name that could belong to telecom, electronics, or a trade outfit, and by our assessment that ambiguity is the whole story. It is short and easy to say, which helps in branding and on a sign, but it gives almost no clue about the business itself. That makes it a practical label only when the surrounding context does the real work. In everyday use, the name is forgettable rather than bad: clean, brisk, and not very descriptive. It sits in the large middle ground of company names that sound international but say little. People who need a clear sector signal will not get it here, while those who want a neutral shell may find it enough. The rating stays average because the name is usable, but only just.
