Ghezel Hesar Prison

Ghezel Hesar Prison is a prison, not a company, so the name immediately changes the kind of judgment it asks for. By our assessment, the relevant question is not branding but what a prison does: it confines people under state authority, and that is a blunt, hard category of institution. The plain strength of naming it this way is clarity; there is no softening the function or disguising the setting. The obvious downside is the one built into prisons in general: they are restrictive places, and their purpose is custody rather than comfort. In practice, this is a correctional institution name that stands far from consumer use and right inside the criminal-justice system.
