Fortinet

Fortinet is built for the unglamorous work of network security, and that is exactly why companies reach for it. By our assessment, it is particularly strong in firewalls, secure access, and the larger security stack that hangs around a corporate network. The honest cost is complexity: once the gear and software are in place, they demand real administration and a team that knows what it is doing. In use, Fortinet is a serious platform rather than a simple box, with configuration, policy, and monitoring all mattering at once. Against lighter security tools, it sits on the enterprise side of the line, where depth matters more than prettiness. It is a good fit for organizations that need control and layered defense, and less attractive if all that is wanted is something small and forgettable. By our assessment, Fortinet is one of those names that solves a hard technical job without trying to look friendly while doing it.
